A Week at Camp: What Your Child Will Experience
Every day at our St Francis School Summer Day Camp is structured to balance energy and imagination — high-energy sport sessions alongside quieter, creative activities that allow every child to shine.
A Typical Day on Camp:
- A welcoming morning activity to settle in and set the tone for the day
- Four rotating activity blocks: sport, arts and crafts, drama, and team challenges
- A daily whole-group challenge where campers take on the instructors
- Themed days each week — pirates, Olympics, superheroes, and more — to spark imagination and keep things fresh
- An end-of-week celebration to mark what every child has achieved
Activities across the week include:
- Football, tennis, basketball and multi-sport sessions
- Aeroball, climbing and outdoor adventure activities
- Arts, crafts and themed creative projects
- Drama, performance games and storytelling
- Problem-solving, team-building challenges and brain teasers
Camp runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:30pm, from 20th July to 21st August 2026. Families can book individual days or full weeks — whatever works best for you.

Please send your child with a packed lunch and two snacks. Suitable clothing for indoor and outdoor activity is all they need.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Who can attend the St Francis School Summer Day Camp?
Any child from Reception to Year 8 (ages 4–13). You do not need to be a St Francis School pupil — our summer day camp in Wiltshire is open to all children from the local area, including Pewsey, Marlborough, Burbage and beyond.
What should my child bring?
A packed lunch and two snacks, a refillable water bottle, and comfortable clothing suitable for indoor and outdoor activities. On themed days, we will let you know in advance if anything extra is needed.
What are the camp hours?
Camp runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, from 20th July through 21st August 2026.
How do I book a place?

Do you accept Tax-Free Childcare?
Yes. We are registered for Tax-Free Childcare and you can apply your government childcare account at checkout.
My child is shy or anxious about joining. Will they be looked after?
Absolutely. Our staff have extensive experience welcoming quieter children and helping them find their feet. Morning welcome activities are designed with this in mind, and every child is placed in a group with peers from their own year to help them settle quickly and comfortably.
