Head’s Welcome

We know that childhood is a special and precious time which lays the foundation for each child’s future. Each child’s journey should be the very best experience possible. So what should their journey entail? At St Francis, we believe that ‘the best’ is about carefully nurturing each child’s individual self esteem, self expression, strengths and ambitions to ensure that they grow into confident, considerate and compassionate young people who fulfil their vast potential.

We pride ourselves on our ‘family feel’ and, as a St Francis parent myself, I know that our community is a happy, welcoming one that fosters strong parent partnerships and ensures our children feel seen, heard and valued.

A happy childhood is perhaps the most fortunate gift in life’

From when they begin their journey in our Nursery, to when they reach Year 8, our children benefit from a decade of focussed support to provide the best. Our approach to learning blends traditional educational values with innovation and outstanding pastoral care. All of which takes place within 17 acres of superb grounds where our children can climb, run, explore and develop within the space and beauty of our natural environment.

Through a personalised approach and rich opportunities to develop skills, learning and character, we nurture extraordinary children of whom we are very proud.

We hold an 80-year legacy of providing ‘the best’ for our children and a wealth of success stories. Having browsed our website we hope that you will want to visit us and find out more about why a childhood at St Francis is so special.
