Amit Mehta - ILG Founder and CEO
Amit began his career as a trainee-chartered accountant at Robson Rhodes Chartered Accountants. From here, he moved to EY corporate finance, spending 10 years in the corporate world while living in Germany and the USA. He held multiple leadership positions, including becoming the CEO of two private equity backed businesses. Alongside a strong skillset in commercial analysis, Amit has learnt how to grow businesses effectively through developing the people working there, and implementing strong processes and systems. "The most rewarding aspect of developing ILG is being able to invest in our children, and in turn being able to see them flourish. With our proactive guidance we positively shape their personal development and are the cornerstones to building strong, healthy and competent future leaders." "The education sector will become more bespoke over time, allowing children to follow their passions and interests. It will begin to mirror the American college system, where there is more space for collaboration and engagement, encouraging pupils to navigate all their challenges and endeavours with resilience and intelligence." In his spare time, Amit enjoys a variety of sports, including golf and cricket. He also travels extensively, taking the opportunity to explore new countries and experience diverse cultures.
