Pre-School and Reception performed You Are My Sunshine and Big Red Combine Harvester Song, incorporating Makaton signs. Year 1 shared their Harvest artwork, Year 2 led a Harvest poem, and our Pre-Prep children sang Autumn.

Year 3 explored how the harvest is used, while Year 4 presented The Journey of a Loaf of Bread. We also enjoyed the St Francis School Choir performing the Thank You Song, Year 5’s Harvest Rap and Year 6’s presentation on the Four Seasons of Farming.

The service concluded with prayers led by our Head Boy and Head Girl, giving us an opportunity to reflect on the importance of harvest and to be thankful for the food we have.

We are particularly pleased that, thanks to the generosity of our families, we donated over 100kg of food to the food bank. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this collection and helped us support those in our local community.

Well done to all the children and staff who helped make the Harvest Festival such a thoughtful and successful occasion.
