Head of Art at St Francis Jo Parkes explained “It is wonderful that one of our pupils has won an art award at Devizes Eisteddfod again. We do all we can to nurture their artistic ability, so it is brilliant to have external adjudicators agree with us. Olivia is a very promising artist, and has designed the St Francis advent calendar this year, so we have no doubt that this award will be one of many.”

Olivia added “I was really pleased to win my category and a bit surprised too! I had entered last year but I don’t think my design was colourful enough and so I didn’t win. I love art and hope to keep studying it in the future.”
